My husband Mike and I are proud parents of our two children, Kai and Mila. I began my teaching career in Cobb County, Georgia but missed my family as well as the four seasons of Michigan. I grew up in the small town of Armada, known for Blake's Cider Miller and Achatz pies. I love to read, draw, and paint; enjoy traveling with my family; sometimes get lost in a well-written TV series; and try to spend lots of time outdoors either running or on a beach.
